Doles Wood steps & handrail installation

After the recent successful 'stiles to gates' installations, the next job is the steep section of footpath leading into Doles Wood. The North Access team plan to install steps and a handrail on this section of footpath to aid people using it. The job: install steps where appropriate. The area is surrounded by mature trees so the roots will dictate where the steps are to go. A handrail will be installed along the length of the hill so people have a safe and secure hand-hold from top to bottom.

9 volunteers are needed:

- One group to concentrate on the handrail

- One group to start at the top of the hill with steps

- One group to start at the bottom of the hill with steps

Wednesday 30th June - 10am - 3pm
